Collections let you group related saves together. Think of them as folders with superpowers — they support unlimited nesting, visibility controls, default tags for automatic organization, and work across all platforms.

Creating a collection

  1. Navigate to Collections in the sidebar
  2. Click + New Collection
  3. Give it a name, optionally select a parent collection, and set visibility and default tags

Nested collections (subcollections)

Collections can be nested inside other collections to create a hierarchy — like folders within folders.
1

Navigate into a collection

Open any collection to see its saves and subcollections.
2

Create a subcollection

Click + New Subcollection (or use the “Add” button in the subcollections section) to create a child collection inside the current one.
3

Navigate with breadcrumbs

A breadcrumb trail at the top (e.g., Collections > Design > Typography) lets you navigate back through the hierarchy.

Moving collections

You can change a collection’s parent at any time:
  1. Edit the collection
  2. Use the Parent Collection picker to select a new parent (or “None” for root)
  3. Save changes
A collection cannot be moved into one of its own descendants — this would create a circular reference.

Deleting nested collections

When deleting a collection that has subcollections, you’ll be prompted to choose:
OptionEffect
Move subcollections upChildren become siblings of the deleted collection (or root if the parent was root)
Delete all subcollectionsThe entire subtree is permanently deleted
In both cases, saves are never deleted — they’re just removed from the collection association.

Default tags

Each collection can have default tags that are automatically applied when a save is added to the collection.
1

Set default tags on a collection

Edit a collection and add one or more default tags (e.g., design, inspiration).
2

Add saves to the collection

When you add a save to this collection, the default tags are automatically applied.
3

Consistent organization

Every save in the collection shares a baseline set of tags — no manual tagging needed.
Default tags are additive — they don’t replace existing tags on a save. If a save already has tags, the default tags are merged in.

Visibility

Collections support two visibility levels:
VisibilityMeaning
PrivateOnly you can see the collection and its saves
PublicThe collection appears on your public space and visitors can filter by it
Collection visibility is independent — each collection controls its own visibility regardless of its parent. A save in a public collection still respects its own visibility setting — if the save is private, it won’t appear publicly even if the collection is public.

Deleting a collection does not delete the saves inside it. The saves remain in your library — they’re just no longer grouped.

Filtering

Click or tap any collection in the sidebar to view only the saves in that collection. You can combine collection filters with:
  • Text search — Search within a specific collection
  • Tag filters — Further narrow by tags
  • Visibility filters — Show only public or private saves
On public spaces, the collection filter shows a nested tree so visitors can browse your hierarchy.
