Your profile controls how you appear on your public space and across the app. Configure these settings from Settings → Profile on web or mobile.

Changing your slug

Your slug is the subdomain for your public space URL. To change it:
  1. Go to Settings → Public Space
  2. Edit the Slug field
  3. The app checks availability in real time
  4. Save to apply the change
Changing your slug immediately changes your public space URL. Any existing links to your old URL will stop working. There is no automatic redirect.

Slug rules

  • Must be unique across all Backpocket users
  • Lowercase letters, numbers, and hyphens only
  • Cannot start or end with a hyphen
  • Minimum 3 characters

Avatar

Your avatar appears on your public space and in the app. Upload an image from your device — it’s cropped to a circle automatically.
Avatar upload is available on both web and mobile.
